US-based investment giant Morgan Stanley continues expanding into cryptocurrency investment products, adding two more spot-exposure funds as institutional interest in crypto ETFs broadens.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the company’s investment management arm, announced the launch of two new ETFs focused on Ethereum and Solana. The firm said that, following previously received SEC approval, the Ethereum and Solana ETFs would begin trading on NYSE Arca.

“Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust (MSOL) have begun trading on the New York Stock Exchange Arca (NYSE Arca).” The two products track the price movements of Ethereum and Solana, respectively.

The $ETH and $SOL ETFs follow the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust (NYSE Arca: MSBT), described as the first cryptocurrency ETP offered by a US bank-affiliated asset manager. That product was launched earlier this year and managed more than $381 million in assets as of July 16, 2026.

Morgan Stanley management said the recent $ETH and $SOL ETF launches are part of an effort to expand the firm’s product portfolio in response to investor demand, while also extending its crypto lineup beyond Bitcoin into two of the market’s largest blockchain networks.

A key feature distinguishing these products from other traditional crypto investment vehicles is staking support. The company said it aims to provide investors with additional returns by staking a portion of the Ethereum and Solana assets held by the funds. Morgan Stanley also said it will not retain any portion of the rewards generated by either ETF, making the staking structure a notable detail for investors following how these funds are designed and operated.
