Bitcoin exchange-traded funds continued their winning streak, drawing billions of dollars in fresh investment over the past week.
U.S. investors have poured in $2.56 billion since last Monday, according to Farside Investors data, helping lift the price of the leading cryptocurrency. This week alone, nearly $652 million in new money has flowed into products managed by firms including BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, and Fidelity, underscoring how the ETF channel has become a key route for traditional investors to gain Bitcoin exposure.
Bitcoin was recently trading at $78,302 after rising nearly 25% over seven days. The cryptocurrency reached as high as $81,160 on Monday.

Bitcoin’s climb follows a sluggish June and July, when it mostly traded below $65,000.
The cryptocurrency has also benefited from news that the Treasury would at least double the size of its liquidity-support buyback operations. That announcement last week weighed on the dollar, while non-yielding assets such as Bitcoin and gold gained.
Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst Eric Balchunas wrote on X on Wednesday that the debasement trade had returned.
“Gold and Bitcoin ETFs have combined for +$7b in flows in past week, by far a record for a 5-day period as debasement trade steals spotlight from AI,” he said.
The debasement trade refers to investors buying assets as a hedge against a currency losing value. Bitcoin and precious metals have often been used in that strategy because they cannot be endlessly printed.
The theme drew attention last year before fading as investors shifted more of their focus to artificial intelligence-related equities.
Investors are now focused on U.S. borrowing, a weak dollar, and efforts to contain long-term yields, keeping attention on macro conditions that can influence demand for scarce assets.
Bitcoin ETFs posted their best week since October last week, with nearly $2 billion in inflows.
A more favorable regulatory backdrop from the White House has also contributed to the surge in trading activity. President Donald Trump held a meeting with crypto executives earlier last week before urging lawmakers to pass the long-awaited crypto Clarity Act.
