同社の決算説明会でVisaは、ステーブルコイン・エコシステムの複数層に投資してきたとして、より広範なステーブルコイン戦略を示した。同社は次のように述べた。

We are active in investing in each layer of the stablecoin stack, from blockchain, to issuance, wallets, infrastructure and orchestration, and applications. This quarter, we’ve made progress in both the issuance and application layers.

Visaはまた、グローバルな資金移動向けにOpenUSDステーブルコインの発行を計画するOpenStandardコンソーシアムに参加したと説明した。同社によると、Visaのステーブルコイン・プラットフォームは、パートナーがステーブルコインでVisaに決済し、オンチェーンのwallet-as-a-serviceインフラを利用し、OpenUSDを起点に法定通貨とステーブルコイン間で資金を移動できるよう設計されている。That positioning places Visa among the payments companies building infrastructure for a market that is still taking shape, while its existing network remains anchored in traditional card and cross-border flows.

The platform will also integrate with Pismo to support tokenized deposits for financial institutions, with plans to add third-party tokenized deposit infrastructure providers in the future.
