Singapore (PinionNewswire) — The Best Event, the production company behind more than 130 events in 24 cities worldwide, will bring AFTERDARK to Singapore's Capitol Theatre on October 5 — a single, standalone evening event, timed to a week in which Token2049 and the Singapore Grand Prix fall on the same dates. German electro-house producer Tujamo is confirmed on the lineup; a headliner is yet to be announced, with additional artists to follow in the coming weeks.

The organizers expect more than 5,000 registrations for the venue with 3,000 capacity. General Admission is free, but admission is not guaranteed — VIP is the only way to secure a spot; for everyone else, doors open early on a first come, first served basis. Since demand is expected to exceed the room's capacity by at least 2,000 people, the practical difference between the two tiers comes down to arrival timing versus guaranteed entry. AFTERDARK takes place ten minutes from Marina Bay Sands. In the same week, The Best Event will also host CoinFerenceX × The Best Event Singapore during the day on October 5 and 6 — giving the city back-to-back top events during the industry's most concentrated week of the year. For attendees, this means that the daytime agenda and the evening program can be planned under the umbrella of a single organizer.

The evening opens with two hours of networking exclusively for VIP guests, anchored by a KOL Awards ceremony on the main stage, before doors open to General Admission on a first come, first served basis.

The lineup so far includes Tujamo, the German electro-house producer behind chart-topping collaborations with Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, and Plastik Funk and a regular on festival main stages worldwide, alongside Ariel Estrella, the Afro House DJ and producer who has built a global following from Europe to Asia. A headliner announcement, along with more tier-one names, will follow in the coming weeks.

Planned for an audience of over 5,000, with VIP networking and international press and media coverage on the evening itself, AFTERDARK is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about evenings of Token2049 week.

Capitol Theatre is not a standard rental venue. Singapore's restored Art Deco landmark is one of the few venues in the region with a fully convertible, rotating seating system that transforms from a tiered theater into an open dance floor in under eight minutes. The stage has already hosted private performances by Ed Sheeran, Eric Prydz, Calum Scott, Tinashe, Yungblud, The Darkness, Passenger, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. This flexibility directly corresponds to the structure of the evening — an awards and networking block on the main stage for VIP guests, followed by an open-floor session once General Admission doors open. It is one of the rare rooms designed for both spectacle and a proper dance floor — exactly what this evening calls for.
